Created in 1947 at Moti Mahal in Delhi, butter chicken was born from necessity—a way to use leftover tandoori chicken. This happy accident became India's most recognized dish worldwide.

We stay true to the original while refining the technique. Our makhani sauce slow-cooks for 8 hours, developing depth from roasted tomatoes, cashews, and Kasoori methi. The chicken is roasted fresh, never from leftovers, ensuring optimum texture.
